music

I grew up in a household full of melodies and instruments. My parents practiced with their band in the basement and I mimicked their tunes on my little organ. I started playing guitar around the age of seven and, following my big sister’s taste in heavy metal, I was playing Iron Maiden at nine. It was the eighties! As a young adult, I wrote and recorded a punk-pop album, and co-wrote an electro-rock album with my husband Mitch Leduc under the bandname August Elliot, which I fronted. Though my main instrument is the guitar, I will mess around with anything I lay my hands on. Future projects are currently on hold but I am trying to tame the banjo.
